London, UK – GFI LANguard Security Event Log Monitor, which offers network-wide event log monitoring, was voted best security auditing product in the annual 2006 Redmond magazine Readers’ Choice Awards. The awards, which appear in their May issue, are presented in 45 product categories in the Microsoft Windows market.

The Redmond Readers Choice Award is a true representation of the opinions and attitudes of their readers. The products their readers choose are the ones that drive their networks and keep their businesses up and running. This year’s survey was even more extensive than in previous years and they received nearly 2,000 responses listing their readers’ favorites in 45 categories.

“It’s always exciting to look through the results of the Readers Choice survey,” says executive editor Lafe Low. “It’s like having a conversation with all of our readers at once. The results of this survey give a clear view of the technology landscape across the country. The winners should be honored, as they have been chosen by the IT professionals who are running the show and selecting products on a daily basis.”
