GFI® Software Names Andy Langsam Executive Vice President of Sales and Operations

GFI® Software today announced the appointment of Andy Langsam as executive vice president of sales and operations. An industry veteran with extensive senior executive leadership and software sales experience, Langsam is responsible for executing GFI’s global sales strategy. In addition to sales, Langsam will lead many of the company’s strategic growth initiatives as it continues its global expansion. He will report to CEO Walter Scott.

Langsam has nearly 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Prior to GFI, he served as the president and CEO of ScriptLogic Corp., a subsidiary of Quest Software Inc. Before that, Langsam served as ScriptLogic’s chief operating officer for four years. Langsam also held several executive management positions during seven years with BMC Software Inc. He started his career at IBM, where he held various sales management positions during his eight years with the company.

Langsam earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Baylor University.
