GFI MAX Prepares MSPs to Meet New HIPAA Regulations

HIPAA readiness pack provides GFI MAX users with information needed to meet HIPAA requirements and maintain healthy relationships with healthcare customers

GFI MAX™ today announced the availability of a HIPAA readiness pack for managed service providers (MSPs) using its GFI MAX platform, specifically designed to address the requirements of the new HIPAA regulations. The regulations, which extend the federal healthcare privacy laws over a number of businesses that provide services to healthcare organizations and providers, went into effect in March of this year and require organizations and business associates within the scope of the legislation to become compliant ahead of the September 23 deadline.

There is a degree of confusion and uncertainty regarding exactly what HIPAA means for MSPs and in order to ensure that customers are well-informed and prepared ahead of the upcoming deadline, GFI MAX has put together a HIPAA readiness pack which includes:
