You’ve decided to upgrade to GFI WebMonitor 2015, which is a great tool for managing Internet access in your business. But how do you go about it? We are going to walk you through the simple process.

Upgrade your license key, We have a separate video on how to do just that. Next backup your configuration. We have an article on how to do that.

Then download the latest version of GFI WebMonitor.

Now for the installation. Right-click on the installer. Select Properties, and then Unblock. If during the installation some pre-requisites are missing, they will be automatically installed. Some of those may require a server reboot, so be aware of that before you start installing. Once done, you have successfully upgraded GFI WebMonitor.

After the installation is successful, the database schema will be upgraded in the background. As a result, there may be delays in the display of items in the dashboard while this goes on.
